5 Things the Board has taught me

None of them are absolutes. #2 and 4 are probably true more often than the others. On the other hand, a RB's YPC in the short term doesn't tell the whole story, but over a couple of seasons it's probably a good way to separate out the special ones from the JAG's. #5 can be deceiving as well if the QB is being asked to make desperation throws when playing from behind.

The least true is #1. While our season may be over, plenty of teams that don't have great records now can still rebound. Who would have thought the Giants would be the champs last year after week 8?

The board has taught me 5 valuable lessons that I was unaware of prior to this year:

5. A QB is responsible for INTs

4. Interceptions are not a good way to judge a CB

3. A RB is not responsible for his YPC

2. Sacks really don't tell how good a DE pressures a QB

1. A season is over after 8 games

2 chainnnnnnnnnnnnnz!!!!!!!!! TRUE!
