2nd. Deandre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

3rd. Sean Porter, OLB, Texas A&M

4th. Dion Sims, TE, Michigan State

5th. D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina

6th. Kyle Long, OL, Oregon

Not much has changed from the last one aside from the 2 extra picks.

The team has yet to have a reliable RG for a few seasons now. Duke Robinson never panned out, and Hangartner was doing awful before shifting over to C. Cooper is one of the top 5 guards in the draft and is rumored to possibly go late in the 1st.

Let's be honest: It's only a matter of time before Kuechly is permanently moved to the inside. Jordan Senn is a ST guy, not starting WLB material (and there's no guarantee he'll be resigned after this season). TD can't be taking every defensive snap either. Porter isn't a pass rusher, but he's quick and solid in coverage.

Only problem is Swearinger will be gone in the 3rd-early 4th. Possibly even in the 2nd if someone really like him.

I like this a lot and I even like the idea of getting rid of D Will because the amount of money out into the backfield we are really under producing in the run game.

assuming a trade like that would happen is ballzee. i'm not a big fan of dt in the first either and i think it's been proven that it isn't necessary, with the exception of very few.

I hate the idea of getting rid of DWill, but I've accepted it's probably going to happen and we might as well get something for him, UNLESS we can get him to stay for a very cap friendly contract, which I think he'd be willing to do given the money he just made and the urge to stay in Carolina.

Same with Beason, I love him too, but I don't know he'll be outside with Luke taking his job and I think we could get good compensation for him.

As gay was it sounds, I'm emotionally attached to some of the players and these two are probably the top two.

I'd be happy enough just by getting a 3rd for DWill. Pipe dream IMO. Would love for Cooper to be there in the 2nd also.
