Just for some perspective, here are two games compared using QBR from PFT.

Aarron Rodgers

26 of 39

396 yards

2 TDs

QBR 82.1.

The Golden Calf of Bristol

4 of 10

79 yards

1 TD

1 Rushing TD

QBR 83.2.

i just looked up tebows game log on espn.com and the game in which he had those stats you just listed his qbr was 39.4. Good job making stuff up.

his game long says 39.4 which I think is more accurate. They must of made a mistake with that article. I dunno.

They changed their statistic formula, after the fact. It's a constantly fluid algorithm, hence the worthless value as a statistic.

If you actually payed attention to football and statistics you would remember the stink this arose last year - the first year they unveiled the statistic.

WTF. That's hilarious. How the fug are you supposed to use any statistic, where the criteria for measuring the statistic is constantly in flux. That's just dildos.

QBR is different from a qb rating

Perfect QBR score is 100 while a perfect qb rating in 158.3

    • he averaged 2 yards in YAC per reception last year.  He can't generate quick separation.  He was debating retirement last year.    Yet we champion him as some great option.    AT is a savvy vet we force feed the ball too......on a team starved for basic offense the last couple seasons.  We overrated AT.  Which is why some freak when people like JT on his podcast point out the painfully obvious about him.
    • The Athletic has us ranked 28th on their post-draft power rankings, mainly due to us picking T-Mc instead of defense in round 1. They recognize we needed WR help, but... https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6317651/2025/04/29/nfl-power-rankings-post-draft-rookies-eagles-chiefs-bills/
    • I mean, he is a slot technician.  That's what he does.  So, in a good offense, you would be trotting him out there on 3rd downs and situationally.....to not take what they give him but to move chains.  It's a niche.  AT hasn't threatened defenses in years.  Last time we saw Renfrow on the field he averaged..... 6 yards YAC per catch.  Adam Thielen last year averaged....2 yards in YAC per catch last year.  I still contend in reality, AT isn't a slot WR.  Not in reality.  He is an aging rec TE.  And those aren't the same thing.  AT simply can't generate quick separation or provide YAC.
