What about Chris Petersen?

You know right now I actually agree with you. It isn't like we are getting blown out or have been non-competitive. We have had some bad luck, bad playcalling, bad plays, etc. that have just kept us from getting over that hump.

If we were getting blown out every week I would be wanting a change but I think we are sooo close, and we fugged up our offense early, but our defense is playing much better.

I reserve my right to change my mind as the season continues, but right now I think Rivera and his staff deserve at least the first half of next season to turn this thing around.

I can't really agree with you guys on this. The team is doing better now but look at what it took to happen to get to this point. Our GM had to get fired for a fire to get lit under our team ass. That spells trouble and being incompetent if you ask me.We are 2-6 and our schedule isn't as easy as some people think. So what happens next year if we start off slow and complacent? Ron Rivera gets fired and we win out and go to the super bowl? No, that wont happen we just waste another year.

What's Tampa's record?

Talk about not being able to finish, how far ahead of the Giants were they when they allowed a monumental collapse? Tony Sporano looked like a great coach in year 1 as well.

We play hard, we're competitive, we have the talent and I think we're all learning as a unit. It's still a young team with a young coaching staff.

    • I just want somebody to settle into that Hangartner role and I may give Mays too much credit. He played so well early and has fell off since injuries crept into his vocabulary.  He was struggling to get push on those goal line runs today.
    • You cannot say it doesn't matter who is playing QB ever in any circumstance. The first two games of the season, Bryce was standing in the pocket with time missing throws left and right. We were running the ball well, but even the gimme throws Canales was setting up, Bryce was missing. Then you start Dalton, boom easy win at Las Vegas. By week four's end, three of our best defenders are seriously injured, center injured, 2nd best veteran WR hurt, and best veteran WR quitting on the team.  Canales is a rookie head coach, and he definitely has had some see what sticks moves. But players are being schemed open, the rookies are progressing nicely, and you have the albatross of some terrible lack of talent to phase out. I give him credit alone for pulling Mingo, Thomas, and going with the better/younger producing players. The scheme is better, he just needs better players and I am not going to write him off until he gets more talent, starting with QB!
    • I don’t want this to be another Daniel jones situation.
