Lol so funny story...

After Kobe got hurt Thomas Davis of all people told Kobe to "stop faking it". I was watching the game so I kinda took offense to that and said something to him. I noticed after the report of Kobe tearing his Achilles, he had deleted his tweet. So I tweeted him, "Oh, what happened to your little tweet about Kobe faking it?" and he proceeded to call me an idiot. LOL. Obviously going to continue to root for him on the field, but he's a douche.

*nb4 the other Panther fans jump on me*

Sucks for Kobe, but works out great for Lakers fans. When LeBron is hoisting up another championship this year, the excuse will be that it was because Kobe got hurt.

Yep, they were going to get demolished in the first round regardless of having Kobe or not. At least now they have an excuse queued up. Sad day for the NBA and NBA fans though, terrible way to end a legendary career. Even if he is able to return to the court, he will be a shell.

This is such BS! All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I’ve done millions of times! The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen ?!? Makes no damn sense. Now I’m supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that??

I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends. Maybe Father Time has defeated me…Then again maybe not!

It’s 3:30am, my foot feels like dead weight, my head is spinning from the pain meds and I’m wide awake. Forgive my Venting but what’s the purpose of social media if I won’t bring it to you Real No Image?? Feels good to vent, let it out. To feel as if THIS is the WORST thing EVER! Because After ALL the venting, a real perspective sets in.

There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever.

One day, the beginning of a new career journey will commence. Today is NOT that day.

“If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear”. Ive always loved that quote. Thats “mamba mentality” we don’t quit, we don’t cower, we don’t run. We endure and conquer.

I know it’s a long post but I’m Facebook Venting LOL. Maybe now I can actually get some sleep and be excited for surgery tomorrow. First step of a new challenge.

Guess I will be Coach Vino the rest of this season. I have faith in my teammates. They will come thru.

I blame this on Jim Buss. He is the biggest idiot and I am worried he will run his dads franchise to the ground. He's so stupid to hire like Brown. He's then even dumber to hire Dantoni thinking old players can play run and gun. The roster makeup is a half court scoring strong team in the paint on defense with Howard. He let his ego interfere with getting Phil Jackson. I hope he gets hit with a bus and Jeannie takes over. Laker fans need to pray Jeannie and Phil have babies and make future Zen masters to coach the Lakers for the future.

None of the Lakers fans here have been talking championship for awhile now so I have no clue what this Lakers hatred rant is even about....

I can't see Kobe coming back and not being the same. I know that realistically the chances of him not missing a beat are slim, but it's Kobe... I will NEVER net against him. He'll be back.

Also, I'm pretty sure that most Lakers fans haven't been talking championship for awhile and Kobe's injury is not why.. should probably look at the team's injuries as a whole.

So whats the move here for the Lakers? Do you try to contend for a title next year or trade Gasol for players/ picks/ cap space?

They need to focus on getting younger and more athletic whether D'Antoni is the coach or not. Pau will be moved on Draft night IMO. Also , sorry KT but this poo is funny.....

Doc complained a little about having to do the surgery while I'm working out on the elliptical, but I told him to just calm down and execute.

Sucks for Kobe, but works out great for Laker haters who can somehow use a Players ruptured Achilles to try and twist a knife in Laker Fans backs.

      Auburn literally could've had 20+ fouls in that half. Hate playing teams like this. They picked up 5-6 quick ones then like always happens the refs start to get whistle shy not wanting to call a foul every possession and they start getting away with murder. The way they call the games encourages this type of play. If they keep fouling just keep calling it.

      I think last year actually set him back.  Our interior online was one of the worst I've seen.  Combine that with Frank archaic system and about 10 other things and then Canales comes in and implements his system regardless who the players were. A lot of coaches think their system can work with any player and don't do any or as much as they should with tailoring it to fit the player.  Canales admitted that pretty much in our first game but when he scaled it back and Bryce still looked horrible so he was benched.  That move right there is one of the big things that has sold me on Canales.  I judge him based on what he's done since he was renamed the starter.  I probably need to give him a little more rope because it probably seemed in his first game like it was just like last year.  Another new coach with his system and Bryce just went along.  Both the coach and the player are adapting to each other and I think that we are back, baby!!!!  It's just like Drew Brees and Sean Payton except without the mole and the butthole lips.

      This is why I hate playing hackathon teams. They get away with half of theirs because of ref whistle fatigue then they notice the foul count discrepancy and then you start picking up ticky tack bullshit to even the count on the box score.
