tolbert might be out this sunday

Recommended Posts

What has he added? our best game was last week when our backs got carriers ..he's not needed cam, stew and dwill need the bulk of the carries like last Sunday proved...that's when were at our best like last year. Tolbert adds nothing. Cam is the goal line threat and 3rd down runner ..

Wow you are absolutely clueless dude.

Once again, Tolbert is a FULLBACK!!!! His job is to fugging block!!! He isn't a running back for the love of god...

He blocks, that's what he adds. Are you saying Gross, bell, silatolu, and kalil are all worthless too?? Just because they don't score touchdowns??

The reason cam gets those goal line touchdowns is BECAUSE of MIKE TOLBERT.

You are a disrespect to the panthers and tupac. Leave.

He's playing Fullback, and helping in both pass and run blocking. He has only 20 carries for the entire season despite playing 199 snaps. He's the fullback. I'm not sure what else you would expect from a fullback than that.

In other news, roto has reported that Tolbert had a full practice and passed his concussion protocol test, so hopefully he'll be a go this Sunday. It's sad that I got this news from the roto player news feed and there is absolutely nothing from our great beat writers.

And BWood, I get your frustrations, but calling the guy out like that doesn't help make your very valid point.

Maybe I can try?

Tolbert is our fullback. His carries should be very limited and his catches used only as a last chance safety valve if the other receivers and reads don't seem desirable. His main job is to block, which he's decent at. Is he worth his contract? Hard to say, because I really don't pay too much attention to the FB role myself, but his versatility is worth it alone in my opinion. Our ideal offense would see Stew and DLo lined up behind Tolbert. When Cam snaps the ball, we hand off to Stew (or DLo) and they follow Tolbert to daylight. Mix in a play action pass a few times here or there, and we beat almost any team we face. It's not really Tolbert's fault that, like everyone else in our offense, we are grossly misusing the talent that we have. These past few weeks have done wonders for us though as we have been running a more traditional offense.

BWood, I'll be seeing you in SD vs the chargers right? Let's drink some brews and get rowdy.

Dude I just can't stand clueless fans like this kid anymore, I try to just explain things but they don't get it. Maybe your analysis will be easier for him to understand.

And I hope I can make it, I didn't wanna book my tickets early on because I wanted to see how good we would be at that point, and now I just got a new job so I'm not sure if ill be able to get it off. Really hope I can make it though and get a chance to meet some of the guys from our west coast fan base.

So far in my experience on the huddle and meeting panther fans from NC...west coast fans > east coast fans.

Joe Person announced it yesterday, a few minutes after the Panthers posted their injury report after Thursday's practice. How much faster do you need it?

I guess I missed it on the CO columns that are all about fluff pieces on Manning and Foxy.
