That 49ers defense got them to a SB last season with Wilks. And just like the Panthers the 49ers thought Wilks was the issue. Shanahan Jr thought it was a good idea to fire Wilks and hire his own guy. Now the 49ers have been exposed and they are likely going to miss the playoffs. Shout out Steve Wilks! -
They got him for free if anything happens to either of the two top targets he’ll ascend right into a starting spot. Not a bad deal for them wish we could have worked things out with him we’d have a little more pop on offense but we’re better off in the long run and he wanted out in major way so everybody wins.
