Predict Cam's #'s for the second half of the season

Recommended Posts

i think he pulls off some average combo of 3 passing/rushing TDs a game from here out. it's not like we've got stud defenses lining up week to week.

he'll end up with about the same TD totals as last year. i think his passing yards wil be a little below but his rushing totals will be just a little above.

i like the fire and i like the schedule. i think this offense finally gets back on track and picks up where it left off last year.

Would like to see him get the QB rating above 80 to stay and a positive TD/INT ratio. Other than that I'm hoping for Wins, Wins, and more Wins.

I'll say 8 TD passing, 5 INT, 1,300 yards passing, 5 rushing TD....

That would be a finish of 16 TD, 15 INT, 3202 passing yards, 9 rushing TD and I'll say we win four more games.

that would actually add up to 14 passing touchdowns and 13 interceptions....

I want to expect big things, but I'm torn because of the system we run. I look over at the Colts and Dolphins, and how they let their rookie QBs play the full pro system, and how much success they are having. I found myself thinking 'Man, Cam can be doing that and more. We got Smitty/Olsen/young receivers in front of him, we got super star backs behind him, and we can barely score 21 pts a game????' I hate how we do athletic "black" QBs in this league. By the way, I don't think it's advertently racist, but it is a trend. Don't tell me Luck and Tannehill (former wide receiver) aren't athletic enough to run a run option offense.

So Cam is being held back, and I'm frustrated about it. It also doesn't seem like Cam even wants to run the full pro offense, still relying on his running ability to get things done. I'm sorry if I seem like I complain about these things too much, I just don't want to see Cam take 3-4 years to do what Luck and Tannehill are doing in their rookie seasons. Especially after Cam proved he can run the full system in his rookie year.
