But what that means to me is, Romney had a horrible campaign plan. Popular vote is ultimately meaningless and I don't think he'll even pull that out. I agree with your take on it as well though.

No he definitely won't win the popular vote. CA and WA will guarantee that. I think the biggest problem the general public had with Romney was that he was seen as a flip flopper on issues that are extremely important to some. By the end nobody really knew where he stood on many issues, because of conflicting comments throughout his campaigning....

Popular vote is going to be pretty close. CA/WA numbers will probably give Obama a two point win, but the electoral votes will be no contest. Shows two things to me. First, a lot of people saw Obama as the lesser of two evils. Also, that if the GOP had nominated a candidate worth a poo Obama would be packing his bags....

Well I guess they can hope a republican is born soon who is worth a poo.

LOL

I don't think he can hurt his parties chances anymore. They won't win another presidential election until they change their approach and make an effort to reach out to minorities and educated middle class.

Yep. This is the truth.

"The story of this election ... is demographics," Todd said. "The Republican Party has not kept up with the changing face of America. That explains what's going on in Florida. That explains what's going on in Colorado. That explains, frankly, what's going on in Virginia and North Carolina. ... The Obama campaign was right. They built a campaign for 21st century America. The Republican Party has some serious soul-searching to do when you look at these numbers ... they are getting clobbered among non-white voters." -Chuck Todd
