Article: Josh Norman Delivering

the QBs who tried to pick on him didn't fare well at all..

matt ryan targeted him 11x for a 60.4 rating.

jay cutler targeted him 11x for a 56.6 rating.

eli manning didn't do too bad. targeting him 8x for an 88.0 rating.

rg3 tested him 7x times for a 63.4 rating.

everyone else who targeted him 6x or less cleared 100+ rating.

bottom line, opposing QBs had better not get him warmed up.

Dude you are going to have to quit coming with those stats(sarcasm). I have been telling casuals all season the kid is going to be good. Way to back me up sir. I am really glad to see that there is factual evidence of his progress and steady play.

That was super hard on Sunday when Griffin ran the touchdown because of holding and Norman kept pointing up to the jumbotron and jawing. He followed him almost all the way to the huddle and Griffin beat his own chest. When a fifth round pick is getting on a "The" first rounder because his team is killing them on the field, that is the definition of swagger. I am glad Mcdermott is allowing them to play a little more physical, or maybe the players we have in are more hungry than the first of the season.

LOL, I remember watching that and smirking from ear to ear. Someone brought the same thing up on another post, wish we had a gif of it.

I couldn't agree with you more. CB's need that tenacious confidence and swagger, Norman has been bringing it ever since he stepped on the field for training camp.

lol this is a fifth round pick. is hes doing something right i could careless. although i do wish we would be more humble at times, but his persona is quite funny.

CB's need to be arrogant. They need to think there is no one on the face of the earth better than them. If they get beat, they need to think it was a once-in-a-lifetime fluke occurrence.

What they don't need to be is humble.

I wonder how long it takes for this board to completely flip on him. Gamble, Marshall, Munnerlyn...any young CB we draft that shows promise gets crapped on in subsequent years when they don't turn into an all-pro.

I'm telling you. Bookmark this thread and come back in a couple of years.

Only on the Huddle do they expect every Carolina Panther player to be world beaters, perfectly beating the world in every battle as they ignore the wars!
