Is it worth a few flags?

Is it worth a few flags to get in an extra knockdown or three against Manning just to remind his body how it feels? I'm not saying blatantly helmet to helmet or hurt him, but just a few legit knock downs....maybe a bit late.

Is that cheating?

I was thinking this last night Zod. Since the guy doesn't get sacked, he can still get hit. And if a late, albeit clean, hit could at least make him less comfortable in the pocket, then give them the 15 yards. Just don't waste it on a sissy slap to his facemask while running by.

I'm the same age as Manning. There is definitely a huge difference between getting knocked down and getting knocked down even a few years ago. It feels the same at the moment, but man it lingers a lot longer. Getting old sucks

With Denver leading the league in sacks and QB hits allowed I think the guys just need to put their hands on him on every play. I little shove (not enough to knock him down just make him move his feet) or grab will let Peyton know that they are always there and that his line cant keep them at bay all day.

yep.

it hurts more when you get hit. it hurts more when you fall down. it's harder to get up. it's harder to shake off.

make him feel it. make him hurt.
