Isn't that essentially the rationale the Saints used?

You're going to draw penalties playing aggressively anyway. I'm only annoyed when it's intentional.

Naturally, I know it happens everywhere though.

not the same rationale or motivation anyway....remember they were getting paid extra.

i can justify it by just telling them to follow through, you know, play through the whistle. kind of like dwill did in scoring that TD, only it's on defense.

Playing dirty is playing dirty. Getting away with cheap play because "we're just playing through the whistle" is still dirty to me. This is the Carolina Panthers, not the Saints/Eagles/Steelers. Since when do we resort to playing like scumbags to gain an advantage in a football game? Be aggressive, keep it clean.
