Effects of a Strong D-Line

Pretty basic, but I just felt like throwing this out there in light of the past few games:

Having a strong defensive line has a snowball effect on the defense and team as a whole. CJ, Hardy, Frank, and D'wan's performances this year have helped out the defense in quite a large capacity. (along with the likes of Kuechly showing the rest how to tackle well and tackle some more)

The Broncos game is going to be a tough one...so I'm thinking the matchup of our d v. Peyton and company will as crucial (if not, more) as our o v. their d.

This past game against the Skinnies showed what every year teams learn: Mistake free football + a stout defense gets you wins and that is exactly what we need to continue.

Mistake free offense and a mauling defensive line

If we can somehow find a consistency in these two areas going forward this season, I will be impressed and quite hopeful. As long as we do these things without Chud going all video game style on offense, its not out of reach.

Sul, um 33, er, Assmaster has a point... The day this team plays even decent on both sides of the ball, finishing wont be so hard. Seems we can only be good on 1 side or the other, with ST being a solid meh, usually...

I aint sayin I want to watch the Panthers blowout opponent after opponent, I just want to see consistency from both O & D... One day.......

and it always seems like whatever we're comfortable with coming into a season, it's flipped with results

Think the offense is fine and the defense is gonna be poor/avg going in....wrong again!
