I'll go on record with this:

It appears that Gettis' activation was hinging upon Pilares' MRI this am. That tells me that the team probably wasn't going to activate him. None the less, he's here. But personally, I'm going to temper my expectations.

I am looking forward to getting some evaluation on Gettis though! Hope he's healthy enough to play in games

People should temper there expectations based more on the fact that Gettis has had one good game in 3 years of being in the NFL, against what was, at the time, a horrific Niners secondary starring Nate Clements. Lol

I'd like to see gettis active this sunday....only way he's gonna get better is through playing time, gotta knock off the rust. Hope he still has those jets, need somebody else to stretch the field
