Dearest Ron Rivera,

Zod

Recommended Posts

Our leaders Jordan Gross and Steve Smith will carry us this week.

Jordan Gross wont give up a sack, nor will any of our lineman. Gross is gonna have those guys fired up and ready to go. We will also have our 1st 100 yard rusher this week. THE O LINE WILL MASH DENVER DEFENSE. GROSS WILL OWN DUMERVIL! BANK IT!

Steve Smith will score 2 TDs, then speak to the media afterwards and talk about "resolve", "never giving up", and offer praises to several of his teammates for their performance.

This is the time of year when our leaders LEAD US. The Denver game hinges totally on them.

broncos aren't going to blow us out.

gonna be a tough game with a ton of pride on the line.

at this point you could argue that every week is a must win for the team, but this one for the organization...esp. JR would be juge and could be a job saver. (i know rivera haters are going to be pulling for the broncos if that's true and that is sad).

between this and the game against the eagles on prime time are going to be big indicators of what this team is capable of.

from what i've seen, the panthers have a chance to win both of those games. this team isn't one that bends over like so many among the fanbase have who are now begging for losses so rivera can get fired and we can have an early draft pick.

this is a team that fights and has had to learn how to win intead of finding ways to lose and i'm hoping that they've figured that out.

i actually like us against the broncos. the thing that is going to decide it is how our Dline matches up against the bronco Oline. their WRs and RBs aren't anything special. their defense is good, but it's beatable.

if we can get to manning, we can win the game. and from what i've seen from this Dline, i think we will be getting to peyton.

This team has taken 2 of the best teams in the NFC to the final whistle - ATL and CHI. I don't think we get blown out by anyone anymore. This defense is actually legitimate now. Dwan, Ron, Kuechly, Norman, Hardy, CJ, and a healthy TD has them playing top notch football right now. Now Godfrey and Martin can just go back to being athletic safeties and not defensive leaders (because they failed in that role horribly). No joke, it's time to sit Naka. He can't compete with Martin's athleticism.

Say what you want about WAS, but they were averaging over 26 pts per game before Sunday. They only scored half of their average against us.

I think it would be a mistake to underestimate John Fox. Yeah, that last year here left a lot of us in need of a mouthwash and flush to get the stench out of our systems, but remember why we hired him in the first place, and why the Broncos snapped him up when he left Charlotte - because despite how things ended here, he is still a damn good defensive coach. I think we can beat him, but to think Peyton is the only weapon they bring to the table is just wrong.

How big is this game?

If we beat the Broncos, we improve to 3-6. the next three games? Bucs in Charlotte, Eagles in Philly and the Chiefs in KC. All Winnable. If we continue to improve, could we be sitting at 6-6 before HOSTING Atlanta? Followed by games against the Raiders (here) the Chargers and the Saints, is there still hope for a miracle run? Could this team finish 9-7 and back door the playoffs? Is it out of the picture considering our coach is preparing for his NFL GED?

I realize that this is improbable, but we have a good team that needs some confidence. If they start rolling, who on this list can stop them? They dominated the Bears last week in Chicago. Should have (Nakachooo, excuse me) beat the Falcons in Atlanta. Whooped the Skins in DC. The panthers are in a position to have a strong finish and shock the NFL.

Why are you trolling him?

I find it interesting that for the better part of five weeks he has consistently talked about our QB. All of a sudden he is posting about Rivera, and makes no reference of the QB whose name he previously could not mention enough? In addition, (this applies to many huddlers) his posting activity is WAY down after this Sunday. Does he not like when the Panthers win? It appears that he is bothered by it.This same abundance of silence was present after the Saints game.

Say what you want about CamGreatestofAllTime (or whatever his name was) but he posted like a FAN (as irrational and fanatic as he was).

So who is trolling who here again?

Because I asked him to stop trolling with his Cam remarks and he agreed.

Lets move on.
