Improved D-Line play = Improved CB play

Same as it ever was.

The defensive backfield is always the first to catch hell when not defending passing plays well, but the issue here has been more the defensive line not getting any pressure the entire last season and for the beginning of this one.

Now that the D-Line is getting the needed pressure, the defensive backfield (with the exception of Nak) looks like a promising young group. I feel bad for Gamble, he would be looking like an all pro cornerback now that the D-Line isn't allowing 5 seconds per play.

Our line has also had coverage sacks though as well, there were times Rg3 couldn't find anyone open. But I will still give credit where credit is due.... CJ, Magic Dwan Edwards, Alexander and Hardy are putting in WORK.

Still think we should get a DT in the draft anyway though.

Many sacks have come after a full 5 mississippis of the QB sitting in the pocket.

Improved CB play = improved line play.

Both units are stepping up and complimenting each other. We no longer have a group on Defense that is hanging the other group out to dry.

Both the DL and DB's are putting in solid work.
