12-4 this year and we're a winning franchise

Every player plays through injury. Thats just an excuse. No player on our defense missed any signficant time last year. Our defense was just flat out abused once we had to play some decent teams finally. Its only going to get worse with the teams we are playing next year. And there is no way Dwill and Jstew will rush for 2400 yards again with the defenses we'll be facing.

Can't give you that considering that two of the standouts on our defense had to undergo surgerys that have required an extensive ammount of recovery for injurys that severly limited their on field production. You can even see the change in defensive production with each injury just based on game statistics.

As for DT, what they did in '09 is a massive feat for any rushing system versus any amount of defensive talent. Given that the tandem will be even more focused and gelled this year, to think that they won't come close to a repeat this year is just foolish.

Remember that the Packers were in the NFC Championship game the year before. There is no way to know how strong a schedule is before the season starts. In the National Football League, anyone can win it all.
The packers had Bret Favre and he had one of his best seasons ever the year they went to the NFC title game.

Well its is better than we gonna suck b/c our SOS is so much worse than last here the best we can do is 9-7 but will probaly be 7-9
You can over look the schedule if you wish. Its just a fact that we went 12-4 because of the cup cakes we faced last year and its just a fact that this schedule doesnt have any cup cakes.

Those teams can compete with anyone though. The NFC south only did well because of the cup cakes that were loaded on their schedule last year. The division winner in the south this year will probably win 9 or 10 games because the schedule is twice as hard.

So u are saying that we cant compete with anyone and should just mail in the season???

There is diversity in the NFL for a reson....Any given sunday any team can beat another......

Again, every player plays through injury. Many of them have surgeries after the season that nobody even knows about. Its just part of the game. Beason and harris was not the reason why we finished 18th. Our whole secondary played poorly as well as the defensive line. Kemo and lewis are ok but they are not difference makers. Our defensive line was very average last year and it will remain average until they adress the DT position which they neglected to do. All they did was reach for a project player to adress that need.

The Dolphins went from 1-15 to 11-5 in one year. Anything can happen in the NFL. Saying we have ZERO chance to win 12 games just shows a lack of football knowledge, or even common sense really.

The dolphins had only 3 teams with a winning record on their schedule last year. They feasted on even more cup cakes last year than we did. That is the only reason why they went 11-5.

LMAO Yup, that's the ONLY reason. All that matters is the schedule, not how good your football teams is. AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA

Ok i have looked over the schedule, we could beat any team any sunday,

Philly- they dont run the ball, they can be beat with short passes

ATL- div foe we can and have beat them

Dallas- they lose a wr and made no improvments in their secondary

Was- they are good early, but QB play is suspect as is ther d-line

TB div foe...QB situation sucks

Buf- TO factor

ARZ- revenge

NO- Div Foe

ATL div for

Miami- wildcat bread and butter, LB corps can stop it

NYJ-? at QB, RB

TB- div foe

NE- will brady be 100percent, Aging defense

Minn- TJ or Sage, really??

NYG- is Plaxico replaced?

NO- Div Foe

I agree we needed to upgrade at DT, but with no money to spend in FA and no first round pick it was almost impossible to end up with anything put a project at that position. We may be average at that position, but we compinsate with one of the best LB corps in the league. No team has dominate players at every position, and our defense can still improve without an upgrade at DT. Marshall will be better than lucas, godfrey will get better, and we got Brown.

Um yeah it is. Look at the teams they beat.

Chargers 8-8

Bills 7-9 (twice)

Broncos 8-8

seahawks 4-12

Raiders 5-11

Rams 2-14

49ers 6-10

chiefs 2-14

Even the win over the patriots wasnt really impressive because it was only matt Cassells first start. They feasted on average and cup cake teams just like the panthers did last year.
