12-4 this year and we're a winning franchise

So you say there is no way to go 12-4 this year.....You have us going 7-9....we are returning all our starters but 1 maybe two.....We have a better DC and Positional Coaches.....We have a QB who everyone hates but we wont have to win games for us, a great o-line, a future HOF WR, the best RB tandem in the league and we go 7-9.......not to mention one of the best LB corps ......and we go 7-9

Whatever dude......

Our defense was 18th in the league last year playing against a cup cake schedule. Just imagine how bad its going to be with the schedule we have now. Not to mention a washed up 34 year old QB and only one good receiver.

Im pretty sure there are whole threads about our strength of schedule, but just because teams had good records last year, doesn't mean they will this year. We don't know what teams will be good until after the season starts...including ours. So you can't say we won't win because of our schedule

That seems to be his ENTIRE basis for why we will have a losing season next year.....bullshit if you ask me.

Not to mention the amount of high-caliber players playing through injury while that defense fell to 18th, one of the best offensive lines in the league regardless of the talent that they faced, THE best rushing tandem in the league that every coach in the league has mentioned as being a threat that needs to be addressed, and a draft that has been hailed as stacked with talent (except on here and by reporters who make their living by being pricks)

I could go on, but I think you get my point.

Nah, I can definitely say it. No chiefs, raiders, lions, packers, broncos, etc on this years schedule. There is a ZERO percent chance we win 12 games. The very best I can see is 9-7 but most likely we are staring 7-9 or 8-8 in the face.

Can I have next weeks lottery numbers? You know, since you are so good at seeing the future and all....

Strength of schedule??? Wow....Does any one know how good teams are going to be this year? If so let me know so i can make my bets on the superbowl. We go against the NFC and AFC east....there have been years that they sucked same as every other division......As far jake, he is not the greatest QB but i would rather have him than TB, DEN, OAK, DET qb situation.

Every player plays through injury. Thats just an excuse. No player on our defense missed any signficant time last year. Our defense was just flat out abused once we had to play some decent teams finally. Its only going to get worse with the teams we are playing next year. And there is no way Dwill and Jstew will rush for 2400 yards again with the defenses we'll be facing.

this theory can be used against every team we play next year too. Like NE played Chiefs, 49ers, Broncs, Bills, Rams...etc. So they will suck this year since they are playing the NFC South instead. And so on with every AFC and NFC East team.

Remember that the Packers were in the NFC Championship game the year before. There is no way to know how strong a schedule is before the season starts. In the National Football League, anyone can win it all.

Those teams can compete with anyone though. The NFC south only did well because of the cup cakes that were loaded on their schedule last year. The division winner in the south this year will probably win 9 or 10 games because the schedule is twice as hard.
