call me crazy/naive, but i don't think we choke this one away.

doesn't mean we won't try to.

knowing smitty hasn't body slammed anyone in a couple weeks and his and hall's past, i'd say that it has something to do with smith and hall getting into it at the absolute wrong time.

We suck with the lead and suck coming from behind, and suck at game planning, and suck at making changes @ half time, no talent in the 2ndary, RG is going too have a 400 yard day. lol

really don't see a win here today, would be nice though. this team forgot what a win feels like, SO painful being a panther fan,

There's a few good picks above, but im going with the OTHER, that we're not even in it, (like the Giants game)

I swear, just when I think this board and certain posters have hit rock bottom....another thread like this shows up.

You guys are an embarrassment. This board makes the Cowboys, Saibts, and Falcons boards look like a think tank.

tend to agree.

having low or no expectations makes life easier for some people to deal with.

I really don't think we'll let this one slip away today....I think Cam will have a complete game and Smitty will exploit the Skins secondary and run for at least 200 yards and two touchdowns.

Everyone in Panther Land will be happy again until Manning and Fox visit BOFA next Sunday and dismantle us,

If we choke this one away, Rivera will keep his job one more week. (Then, when the Broncos come in and put up 40 on us and Fox leaves with his troll face on, then Rivera is canned.)

If we get blown out, Rivera and/or coordinators will definitely not be here tomorrow.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
