LOL...have you seen Murphy play this season!? I'm sure Gettis can drop 8 out of 10 passes thrown his way. And Armanti has had 1 reception....I'll repeat it again...Gettis can't be worse. He might not be better, but he sure as HELL cant be worse than non existent.

Okay. I agree. Yeah he cant be worse. Read your initial post as implying he would easily be better. My bad.

I'd say the other point is Murphy and Edwards have both had 7 games on the active roster this year and have basically nothing to show. Granted Gettis may do nothing, but like everyone is saying, no way he does worse.

Oh yea, Edwards blows. Worst draft pick of the Hurney's career. Brown a close 2nd.

I just don't get why they're treating Gettis like he is some scrub UDFA... We saw him play on this level. He can contribute, much moreso than several of the guys we have on the active roster right now. He's had a long time to heal, only complications I could see is stamina/conditioning... What is the hold up? He can help us.

When Gettis played he looked better than Lafell, but that's been 2 years ago. I think if he is healthy, he should knock the rust off and we can see what he has going into next year. If (albeit a big IF) he looks anything like 2010 he could be a productive number 2 WR.
