Why do injuries linger on this team and not other teams?

We have the worst Training Staff... It has to be attributed to the training staff for not getting this guy’s ready to play week in and week out. I understand injury can’t be controlled but recovery should be on the staff and not the players when you have multiple cases such as Ota, Hogan, Beason, Gettis, and Davis having a hard time fully recovering. They can’t even diagnose illness saying one day, a player is day to day and the next day the player is on IR (kali, Beason, gamble). I won’t be surprise if LaFell ends up on IR soon.

I listened to a Dr. on the radio that said a complete tear was better for the achilles than a partial.

was he wrong?

Don't have a PHD, sooo...I couldn't answer that with 100% certainty. BUT I do know that Demeco Ryans and Beason (Kemo also) both had the same injury and it took MUCH longer for both to be 100%... it just sounds like logic. Does a fracture take longer to heal than a complete break?

Ok, Adrian Peterson, Tore his ACL late last season on Christmas Eve and now just months later not only is he back to his former self but he may even look better than before. Trent Richardson, had major knee (or leg) injury during training camp only a few months ago. But yet he is on the field beasting opposing defenses like its nothing.

Then look at us. Beason tears his achilles at the very start of last season giving him over a year to recover, not even midway through the season he is now on IR yet again. Thomas Davis, sure he looks good now. But it took 3 ACL surgeries to finally play well again.

Does it just go back to us not being tough and our guys just not working hard enough to get back in shape? Is oit our coaching staff? Same goes for Hogan and Gettis, why do I have a feeling if Gettis had the same doctors and treatment AP had, he would be half way through 1000 rec yds this season already?

In the Hurney tenure, there has never been any pressure to heal up. Hurney rewarded injured players and players with middle of the road talent with huge pay days. If you knew you could loaf and lounge around but still get paid, why bust ass to get back and risk getting hurt worse in a violent game. This is a franchise run by good, loyal people and sometimes in business being too loyal and friendly can come back to bite you. I love JR and the Panthers but this organization needs some assholes that don't give a fug. Play or get the fug out.

Ryan Vermillion has ben the head trainer for as long as I can remember. I'm not saying it is or is not his fault or the fault of the trainers.

It's already been pointed out other teams deal with it too.

Lack of depth has been pointed out as well (which could be a due to poor late round draft choices).
