Official Panthers - Redskins prediction thread

We haven't shown even a glimpse that we can close out a game in the 4th quarter since week 2. Unless we have a 3 possession lead going into the 4th quarter, I don't feel good about our chances. We are at Washington and the crowd is super loud in that stadium. Psychologically, we have been a pathetic underperforming team, while they have been surprising in a few games. We have a coaching staff on the way out, while Shanahan isn't going anywhere.

What we need is a solid win, but we are not a solid team, especially coaching-wise. The defense will probably have to keep us in it. If its close in the fourth quarter, I don't like our chances. Games we have had a chance to win in the fourth quarter but did not: Tampa, Atlanta, Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago. Imagine if those games had gone the other way.

My prediction: I see more of the same...Washington 27-Carolina 24. Could be another late field goal. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: we may end up with the #1 overall pick.

I think the Panthers win this one. Cam Newton will be able to get well on their defense. The Steelers showed that a little game planning against their offense makes it very easy to defend.
