Ok, I've been hearing all damn week long on the National media how great Luck and RG3 are and how Cam has Fallen apart.

is there something I'm missing, Cam hasn't been terrible and I wouldn't call his season too much other then a sophomore slump.

and why is the media saying how much better RG3 and Luck will be compared to him?

Cam destroyed all rookie QB records last year, and as far as I know neither of these guys have gotten close yet to what Cam did last year.

and who's to say that these guys aren't going to go through the same thing?

the QB playing the best in the NFL right now is Matt Ryan and he stunk his sophomore year in the NFL, and this is a know thing to have happen, and instead of sports broadcasters talking about him just hitting his sophomore slump, they talk about how he's hit his ceiling? wtf am I missing outside of these guys playing in bigger more established markets???

How many wins did the Falcons have in Ryan's second year? Keep talking....

The W/L thing being attributed to QBs is played out.

Mark Sanchez has been to two AFC championship games. Would you take him over Matt Ryan who has won zero playoff games?

The Golden Calf of Bristol and Vince Young have winning records, are they among the best QBs in the NFL?

Archie Manning was a decent NFL QB, his record was 35-101. Should he be remembered as one of the worst QBs in history?

Attributing W/L solely to a QB makes as much sense as applying W/L to a designated hitter.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.

      Ah, the ol Cam Newton hating.  I will give you credit, the week of pretending to be a Daniel Jones super fan is a very clever way to disguise your hatred of Cam.
