I was really shocked when he came back into the game, he was clearly knocked out which almost has to involve a concussion.

Agree...it was obvious he was out cold. Cannot believe they let him come back...no matter what their mandated tests scored. It seemed irresponsible and reckless. And it is not like he was the star of the team. Do not understand their thinking.

The decision to let him play after that hit says a lot about the coaching staff currently in Carolina.

i know people are going to be looking at this as another sign of rivera incompetence, but teams have trainers there just for concussion type injuries and have a standard test that they have to give and that they can be fined quite a bit for fudging on or ignoring.

if lafell passed the tests there was really no reason to keep him out. it was a judgment call. i probably wouldn't do it, but i wouldn't hone in on this as one of the things demonstrating how bad of a coach he is. there's plenty else to point at.
