You know big chains like Bojangles and KFC use chicken from places like Tyson and Perdue.

The only way I know of to get chicken that was treated humanely is to buy it from Whole Foods where they have a rating on the quality of life the chicken supreme had.

So you guys really care if the chicken was treated humanely before it got chopped up and fried?

Shrimp Boat Chicken in Rock Hill/

One of the few that doesn't over-spice fried chicken. It's actually a little too bland, even for me.

Fatz does good fried chicken and shrimp.

Best fried chicken I ever ate was my grandmother's. She probably used lard/pigfat/bacon grease though.

Kind of... Not necessarily humanely but have you seen Food Inc? I could never ever again in my life Knowingly eat Tyson chicken... Period

I never want to see how Cows/Chicken/Pigs are treated in one of those documentaries because ignorance is bliss.

They feed the chickens a bunch of chemicals to fatten them up more. Then when you eat that chicken you get those chemicals.. According to food inc.

Yes I'd rather pay a little more to support a farm that doesn't torture animals.

Organic is key for me... Not pumped full of so many growth hormones and steroids that the chickens legs break under the weight of the oversized and under developed chickens... Ill take a smaller chicken breast knowing that I'm eating something more naturally raised. Ill also pay a little more in the peace of mind knowing that "the man" isn't controlling my hormones nor will I die from some rare steroid induced cancer... I mean who knows these days?
