Reid is overrated. Still living off McNabb, hasnt won a playoff game since him. Phillys O line is terrible, Vick gets hit IN THe POCKET more than any QB, and Reid wont utilize their best offensive weapon in MCCoy. He would only ruin Cam, no thanks. We need a HC who isnt afraid to run the ball.

These are good points as well in an argument against hiring Reid.

Like I said, I'm not politicking for Reid here but I do honestly think that if it looks like both teams are going to make a change (and it looks that way right now!) ESPN and the media trolls are going to be all over this calling it a "perfect fit" for a team that needs a HC, GM, and Cam babysitter.

The Eagles have had a solid organization, good ownership, strong scouting, shrewd free agent strategy, great cap management, etc. etc. and even with all of that behind him, Reid still hasn't been able to bring home a Super Bowl trophy.

What makes people think he can do it with the Panthers organization?

Yeah another solid argument against Reid. If anything, Reid has proven he CANT win a super bowl when everything else around him is in good shape.

I don't understand the love affair with Chip Kelly, either. IMHO, they've got to get a guy that's an NFL coach now.

No love affair, but I would rather have a offensive Guru and a winner over a guy that rode the coattail of a Philly defense for so many years.
