Of course Fox runs the show, it's his show. That does not mean he runs the day to day game planning and play calling. His philosophies are what the team goes by, as it should be. The details are the assistant coaches responsibilities. Frankly, there's no way Fox could handle it, no man could. That's why you have assistant coaches in the first place. Davidson and Henning have/had absolutely no control over what personal the team brings in. That is all Fox and Hurney.

Exactly! The coordinators do what John Fox tells them to. Imagine that huh? So why do people think we are going to have an agressive defense suddenly because of a coaching change when Fox doesnt run that kind of scheme?

If you go to TC or read reports, there is a big difference in how Trdo ran things and how Meeks is running things. You said originally that it was scheme that we won't notice, now you're saying it's aggressiveness.. I agree with you that Scheme may not change drastically, it's still a 4-3 that sounds like it'll still deal with zone... but go to TC and you'll see first hand why Meeks is trying to instill more aggressiveness and more swarming to the ball and more focus on Technique than Trdo ever did...

When I say agressivness Im referring to the scheme. We wont be blitzing alot and doing anything different from usual. Its still going to be the same vanilla zone defense that we are used to.

They run different schemes, have different philosophies, etc. The only thing not determined yet is how Meeks will adjust our personnel since he is known for doing the best he can with what he has to work with.
