Dont underestimate the blow to the ego Matt Moore groupies suffered when he lost his job to such a "low IQ QB". Irony is they worship a QB whod rather golf then learn his playbook or get reps.

newton has ten times the work ethic of matt moore. nobody seems to remember it but he had a somewhat antagonistic relationship with fox during his time here because he wasn't a hard worker and spent a lot of time screwing off. he wouldn't have been the starter in 2010 if fox had any say in it whatsoever.

fact is moore made his hay during the tail end of the fox era in late 2009 when our offensive line was crushing it and our defense was playing the best it had since 2005. he wasn't interested in being mr. carolina panthers whereas newton is and as such he's taking most of the poo for our failures as an organization.
