We are a Vikings meltdown and a 8-1 win streak away from the playoffs..

I can understand this logic but look at how well we played against the two beat teams in the NFL at their own home.. If we play like that against the Skins, Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers etc we will get hot fast. I also have a feeling we punch the Bucs in the mouth next go around and if the Eagles start Foles we have a good track record against teams with QB controversies.

If a team constantly puts itself in a position to win, but chokes them away...that is usually team inexperience or bad coaching. I'd go with the latter

So I was bored at work today so I decided I would look at the NFC and I noticed that while it is HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely this will happen, I couldnt help but notice that if we beat the Redskins, (which I have this feeling we will quite handily) and go on a win streak, we have a VERY VERY small chance of going 9-7.. Let me explain.

The Vikings are 5-3 but that wont last long, why? ill tell you why... Seahawks, Lions, Bears, Packers, Bears, Rams, Texans and Packers. Thats their next 9 games, I see a Viking meltdown coming with that hellish schedule.

Who do we have? Skins, Bucs, Broncos, Eagles, Falcons, Chargers,Chiefs, Raiders and Saints. The ONLY team that scares me is the Falcons and maybe the Broncos. Broncos will be playing in Charlotte and seeing how hard we played both the Bears and Falcons AWAY, our remaining schedule is cake.

I know we are all down and out at the moment, but just stop and think to yourself. If we play as hard against these weak teams coming up as we did against the Falcons and Bears, watch out because we might just get hot.

I see 2 or 3 wins at most. Not that it matters 9-7 is not gonna get a WC out of the NFC, the AFC maybe.

Talent wise I think this team is as good as any. I don't think the coaching staff has a clue. Each week I see or hear (work overseas somethings only get highlights) about the coaching staff doing something that cost us the game. Just by watching the quick highlights I saw on the Bears final drive I could tell we were playing soft coverage.

I am with you. Mostly because I think we can win every game and sooner or later we will catch a break.

I just think back to the 1992 Chargers stqrting 0-4 and finishing 11-5 or the 2002 Jets starting 2-5 and finishing 9-7
