We are a Vikings meltdown and a 8-1 win streak away from the playoffs..

So I was bored at work today so I decided I would look at the NFC and I noticed that while it is HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely this will happen, I couldnt help but notice that if we beat the Redskins, (which I have this feeling we will quite handily) and go on a win streak, we have a VERY VERY small chance of going 9-7.. Let me explain.

The Vikings are 5-3 but that wont last long, why? ill tell you why... Seahawks, Lions, Bears, Packers, Bears, Rams, Texans and Packers. Thats their next 9 games, I see a Viking meltdown coming with that hellish schedule.

Who do we have? Skins, Bucs, Broncos, Eagles, Falcons, Chargers,Chiefs, Raiders and Saints. The ONLY team that scares me is the Falcons and maybe the Broncos. Broncos will be playing in Charlotte and seeing how hard we played both the Bears and Falcons AWAY, our remaining schedule is cake.

I know we are all down and out at the moment, but just stop and think to yourself. If we play as hard against these weak teams coming up as we did against the Falcons and Bears, watch out because we might just get hot.

I have ZERO faith in Rivera... I have tremendous faith in the team and players...

They just can not beat:

1-The Opponent

2- The Refs

3- Our own coaching staff

4-ourselves

That's who we face every week, so when you see the Teams on the schedule make sure to add the other factors. When you add all those things up its tough to be optimistic!

I can understand this logic but look at how well we played against the two beat teams in the NFL at their own home.. If we play like that against the Skins, Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers etc we will get hot fast. I also have a feeling we punch the Bucs in the mouth next go around and if the Eagles start Foles we have a good track record against teams with QB controversies.

You're reaching for straws dude....I'd rather us lose close games for the rest of the year just like we're doing and have a SOLID draft pick than us win just enough games to do nothing more than screw us come draft time.

Here's the reality:

Gamble IR

Beason IR

Kalil IR

It's only gonna get worse, and it's not like we're a deep team. They should go ahead and put TD on IR too and save his career rather than (heaven forbid) something horrible happening to the guy playing these meaningless games.

What we should be and what we are are two Completely different things. I've been widely known on this board for the past two years as being one of the biggest homers here... Even I see the writing on the wall. Best case scenario is we get Cam's confidence up and the coaching staff continues losing us games. At least that way we'll know going into next year that Cam is the real deal, and with getting a big name coach in here will get us to where we need to go... Until then I will continue to hope for wins and hold my breathe going into 4th qtrs of games up 19-7 only to squander it due to horrid coaching... We played cover fuggin 4 during Chicago's entire last drive. They ran the same play 4 fuggin times, and we have a "defensive minded HC". Anybody wanna try and tell me this dude knows what he's doing??? Whatever I'm done with this

It could happen. It would be fuging crazy but it could happen. I saw the Rockies win like 30 games in a row to steal a playoff spot from the Braves a couple seasons ago.

We've been one play away from winning every game except against the NYG.

It'd be some crazy crazy poo, but it could happen, especially when you look at the Vikings schedule like that.
