I have no idea how he lasted so long in the draft....I think that we absolutely got a huge steal. I hope that Peppers decides to come back, because him and Brown lined up on opposite sides of the line could wreak fuging havoc next season.

And I didnt even talk about the much improving Charles Johnson, who could post double digit sacks after getting 6 last season.

peppers and johnson will be nice..but i would like to see brown at RE but i dont think we will move peppers to LE when he had his best season at RE...

I think we would.

Even though Peppers had his best season statistically last year, I'm not sure how much of that can be attributed to his change in position. Not to mention Peppers has shown he can play both positions at a very high level.

And considering Peppers could very well be gone after a year, it would make sense to put the rookie in at the position he'll be playing once Peppers leaves.

You and me both. Would be the the potentially best pass rush we've EVER had.

But I'm also not going to worry about it until training camp...and realisitically, regular season. Would I like him in the fold now with the new DC? you bet, but I don't see it as the end of the world.

I think our only saving grace with Pep is Ron Meeks.

Pep doesnt know what his abilities will be in the new defense, so he can only wonder what his potential would be, and how meeks would like to use him.

That might be enough to make him want to sign and play.

If turgocrap was still here I would all but promise a holdout

      The funniest thing about this is clearly when we try to rely on the pass that's when drives stall. What do fans do? They immediately criticize Canales for not running it enough when that's just the equivalent of asking bryce to do less when really we should be trying to see him do more so we can know if he is the future at QB. Running Chuba in the ground doesn't help bryce...and it won't help against teams that are actually good. But if he runs it more he limits bryce, if he throws it more than he us just putting too much on bryce plate. Say what you want about Canales but he is in a bad spot with Bryce. Lol

      Now that we've won 2 games, ive got no real idea of where we're going to end up.  We basically won against the two worst teams on our schedule. Gets harder from here on out so I don't expect them to win more than 2 more games. 5-12 probably gets us a mid round pick, 3-14 is probably top 10 or top 5.  I think winning today and getting to 3 wins basically ensured that we're not getting the #1 overall pick.
