This thread is to discuss the future of the Hurney Magic that is Josh Norman'

This kid has "it". He is the closest thing to Steve Smith I have ever seen on the Panthers defense. Capable, chip on his shoulder, jawing all the time to anyone that will listen. The stuff that comes out of his mouth has made me laugh on the sideline every single game.

Have I mentioned how excited I am about this kid's future?

I have a spot for you on my Normanwagon Zod.

Been down since day one! Yesterday was his best game yet against a "premiere" WR.

That being said, can't wait to get a coach in here that knows how to accentuate his skillset with a legit scheme and players around him in the back 4 that can execute it (not a shot at Gamble, b/c I've been pro-Gamble as well, although I do think he may be on his way out).

Hopefully he will show some improvement to match his poo talking. With a new GM and likely new coaching staff coming in it's not guaranteed he will continue in his current role.

He's been pretty much awful.

Norman has been far from "pretty much awful"...

What are you talking about?

Yes he has. I'm not one to judge a player in relation to where they were taken in the draft. Once they take the field they are the same and he does not compare well with his peers.

I want him to succeed, I want him to be great, I don't want the team to have to worry about that position. So far, he has played like a 5th round pick from a small school.

I will continue to hope he can grow into it, but that does not mean it will happen.
