The new GM and new coach in 2013 need to sit Cam behind a vet QB

If you're going to sit here and try and convince me that one clutch throw means Cam Newton plays great in crunch time, you're burying your head in the sand. Not one player in this league would say that Cam Newton is a clutch player. Not ONE. And CERTAINLY not in 2012.

Did Cam lead a game winning drive today? No? Hmm wonder why maybe because the coaches couldn't adjust to the same play being ran but bench Cam for giving us a lead. I think you would make a great raiders fan they have a veteran qb

The hard reality is that Cam Newton is one of the very worst quarterbacks in the NFL in obvious passing situations.

Before all you Cam worshippers start calling me an idiot and a troll, just check out his situational statistics on ESPN. They are available for you.

Today's pass in the endzone that Smith decided to reach with one hand is another.

You are delusional. Smith made a great play just to get a hand on the ball. If he makes that catch it would have gone down as one of the best in the entire NFL in 2012. The ball was overthrown.

I thought stats don't matter and wins do...Cam left field with a 22-20 lead...is that not winning.

lol i don't think anybody is actually saying that. i don't believe that cam newton is "great in crunch time" but i saw an assertion from you that i (and several others) immediately knew was not correct and responded to it.

in vintage sam mills fan fashion though your next move was to say that it actually didn't matter and we're all stupid anyway.

Another example would be the pass to Murphy in the closing seconds at Seattle, in which Murphy couldn't get the final foot to score the TD. This was just before the dirt ball to Hartsock.

murphy is seriously about the least clutch wide receiver i've ever seen. really it's almost a foregone conclusion that if it's third and long and a ball hits him in the numbers it's going to hit the ground.
