Anger is a rookie and avgs 49.3 ypp (5th in the league).

He was also drafted in the third fuging round. So, I guess we should have just not drafted Silatolu and gotten Anger, because that's definitely a winning strategy.

I think Nortman's shank at the end is being overshadowed by the loss in general. Nortman punted the ball 6 yards.. which in turn gave the Bears excellent field position, where they were able to score a quick TD. That was the 2nd poor punt of the day for Nortman.

I looked up to see where Nortman ranked throughout the league. To my surprise, Nortman was ranked 30th in the league (before this game). I am sure he is ranked dead last after his 22 return avg agaist the bears.

He is ranked in the top half of the league regarding punts downed inside the 20, so the average might be a bit misleading. He is normally a pretty good pooch punter. The one against atlanta was beautiful and should have helped secure the game for us.

WTF? are you guys insane? He's been the most consistent of the special teams guys. This is to date the only mistake he's made, a very costly one for sure but he's a good player. He'll be fine. He's a rookie.

The blame can be spread all around though, not just his shank. The defense brain farting at the end being fooled not once, not twice, three or four times but five times with the same slant play to marshall? Come on man.

I know the stats might not show it but he's been punting pretty well so far. Usually gets good hangtime that allows our guys to be able to stop a return.

He was clearly too worried about the kick which made him shank it and the wind made it worse.

And lol he does not suck IMO.
