The Falcons lost what I call "player fans" 2 years ago after Vick as well. Those are the same type of fans that are hoping Favre signs in Minnesota, and have no true knowledge of the game. Those are the fans we don't want in Chicago(Bear fan for 30 years), b/c they are not true fans. We now have Jay Cutler/former Bronco fans swearing loyalty to the Bears.:eek:

BTW, I've been to Cherokee NC(twice). Good thing I brought my own beer, dry county but great scenery!

That not what I said at all. I said that Atlanta had a small fanbase with no exposure. People follow what they see on television and that was the Redskins. True they won and were popular. Everyone is a bandwagon fan at some point which is when they became interested in football or a particular team. Whether that happens early as a child or later. You were a bandwagoner for Atlanta and then grew into perhaps a diehard fan. On the other hand if you are a true fan go to AFMB and bug them.

Did you come to stir the pot or want real conversation. If it is the former,then go to Smack. If not then discuss it in an mature manner if you can.

I was a steelers fan....loved the smashmouth teams they have always have.

1995 became a panthers fan and havnet looked back.....though i still root for Pittsburgh when they are playing anyone else....
