2006- 57.7% completion rate, 77 QBR

2007- 56.1% Completion rate, 73.9 QBR

2008-60% Completion rate, 86.4 QBR

My point? Eli didnt even have a season of 60% or better completion rate and 80 or higher QB rating until season 4 and now he is HOF bound and has two rings. Cam WILL eventually get it and become a elite QB.

Cam is already very good. He needs to continue to work on short accuracy as that's his biggest struggle and it really shows up in the redzone. He also needs to continue to work on being patient. He's doing a better job of doing that when going through his progression and doing a better job of hitting his checkdowns when necessary, but now he needs to learn when and how to throw the ball away and when to just eat the ball and take a sack.

He can't help that Smitty slipped on a route that led to a pick 6. That was just shitty luck. Us Panthers fans should be used to that though.

Yeah, I'm not getting the Cam hate. He's the best QB this franchise has ever had. With proper coaching he will be great.
