You win when you're in a position to, whether you were "supposed" to or not.

I disagree.. had we had anything else to play for this season then I would agree. But, really winning more games serves no purpose we'd be in the best position for the new gm if we were to lose. Which is why I say I don't care. Those that are still up in arms about W's knowing what we know now are just giving themselves a reason to be angry.

The fact we were even winning this game in the 4th QTR should be enough to keep him around longer...I'm almost certain 95% of us thought we would lose this game by 40 points.

I had a good idea we would lose this game but i knew it wouldnt be that bad. It's just the same choke as the past 5 weeks. That's why i think he's gone. Moral victories are no more

You play until you are eliminated from contention. This isn't the NBA. Too much at stake to tank it at 1-5.

Now, after how lost today and sitting at 1-6... IDGAF, tank away if we're keeping this staff.

I see where you're coming from with this. I don't wanna give off the wrong impression that i'm not upset with this team because I am. I was just weighing in our situation with no depth to speak of in many places why we were so worried about wins.

Yeah, I just can't deal with "quitting."

But, considering they were still trying and we still lose in this fashion, there's no point in letting Rivera destroy these players, IMO.

Seriousy?! The no go on a field goal with 3 seconds left in the half,passing with 6 min left on the 22,passing twice on the field goal drive at the end of the game instead of running down the clock to get on the other side of 2 min? The lack at of an adjustment on defenseon their final field goal drive?! And you believe Rivera isn't to blame for this! Fire his ass ASAP! No,NONE whatsoever reason not too.
