Expecting your second year quarterback to occasionally make a great play when it matters is probably expecting too much. Lots of chances today, but no cigar. Defense gave up 210 yards and got 6 sacks. Offensive line played well, especially on the final drive which was almost all on the ground. 5 field goals. Shame. The whole team is still playing hard, though. This team could be 6-1. They are 5 plays away from being 6-1.

Ok no QB is going to have a perfect game (all the time). Usually qbs average 1 to 2 picks a game. Newton is a QB he will throw occasional picks.
