Nearly 2 million w/o power in the Tri-State. Storm is finally on shore. Flooding everywhere. I'm sittin' toasty on the 14th floor though with full power. Wind is wid though. Very loud. Wish the MNF game was more exciting.

I don't think it's supposed to be bad in terms of just overall destruction like your typical powerful southern hurricane... I think the main worries with this is coastal flooding, inland flooding, power outages, and just how widespread it will be.

There is a construction crane dangling off a residential hi-rise in Manhattan. They've cleared out 15 surrounding buildings. When that thing goes, its going to be loud.

Battery Park is about to flood which means the subways will get screwed. Thankfully I walk most everywhere but what a clusterfug that will be.
