Check out ESPN.com's homepage. I believe SF Giants young Ace pitcher Madison Bumgarner is on the front page tonight.

You two clowns talked poo about SF & their pitching all season long. Where did you guys disappear to? How are those world beater Dodgers doing bwood? Where are those ML best WAS pitchers swarly?

I told you idiots Madison was the best young pitcher in baseball & that SF has the best pitching staff in the ML. Those retarded stats & high salaries y'all spewed won't mean poo when SF Giants win their 2nd WS title in 3 years behind their dominant pitching.

Going into August Bumgarner was 13-7 with a 2.83 ERA & 160 SO. He was only 22 years old this year & fatigue wore him down as this was his 2nd full season but first with a heavy load.

He struggled as of late, but yet again on baseball's biggest stage the 6' 5 southpaw stepped on the mound & absolutely dominated.

7 IP 2 hits 2 walks 8 strikeouts on only 86 pitches...

The young Ace is only a month removed from his 23rd b-day & he already has as impressive a WS resume as you'll find.....

2-0, 15 IP, 0.00 ERA, 5 hits, 2 walks, 14 strikeouts

...& soon to be 2X WS Champion

...okay now let's wait for bwood & swarly to correct me....

LA Dodgers are 10X better & will crush SF... derp

WAS has the best pitching in baseball, SF doesn't come close... derp derp

enjoy your crow fagots.... with all the trash y'all talked ALL season you should have plenty to last all winter.

SF destroyed LA & are showing why they have HANDS DOWN the best pitching staff in baseball. Posey is the only starter from the '10 WS team. Everyone else is new. It's the same pitching staff dominating & carrying them to the title.

SN03 = biggest bandwagon fan of all time. When he hopped on the yankee wagon and they got butt fugged, he jumped on the Giants wagon just in time all because he got his cherry popped by Madison Bumgarner in grade school.

I am a die-hard NY Yankee fan.

Btw, I'm going to have Madison autograph a pair of '10 & '12 World Series Champion t-shirts for you sweetie.

OH YEAH YOU'RE REEEEAAAAALL DIE HARD MAN LOL....

You're a fugging joke! I went to elementary school with the little kid that played Anakin Skywalker, do you want his autograph???

Sorry, haven't posted on this forum in a while.

I don't remember really talking trash about them though... I always gave them props for having a great staff, but I thought the Nationals had a better staff as a whole, which at the time they did.. and you could argue they finished with a better staff. Postseason baseball is such a crapshoot.

.Giants were the better team, and the more experienced team. You are crazy if you think WAS pitching staff isn't right up there with the Giants though. You really think Stras/Gio/Zimmermann/Detwiler isn't an elite rotation? Stras will be the best pitcher in the MLB next year book it.

I've got nothing but respect for the Giants org. and I think they're the best run one in baseball from top to bottom. I stand by what I said about the Nationals having a better staff, just a less experienced staff that lost their best guy for the postseason.

I really wish the Nats/Giants could've played eachother in the NLCS. I think the Giants would have come out on top but it would have been a great series between IMO the best two teams in baseball.

IMO the best two teams in baseball.

I'm a NYY fan, & my unbiased opinion on WAS vs SF would be....

1) No they don't. SF has the best staff in baseball. 2 WS in 3 years. WAS arguably has a better rotation, but SF has the better staff. Cain, Bumgarner, Vogelsong, & Zito were damn near unhittable in the WS. Then you have a 2X Cy Young winner in Lincecum pitching amazing out of the pen. Affeldt & co are excellent relievers & they have a pair of great closers.

2) Better team? Possibly. They won the WS, but WAS was a great team. More experienced? Not really. Buster Posey was the only starter remaining from their '10 WS team. The other 7 position players were all replacements of the team that won two years prior. Which is just an another example of how great their pitching staff is from top to bottom. It's the best I've seen since ATL had Maddux/Smoltz/Glavine/Neagle/Millwood/Avery/Rocker.

3) By far the top NL teams. Not sure WAS is better than DET. They are a great team. They just ran into a great staff that was pitching dominantly.

WAS has a good young staff, but outside of WAS not many people would pick them over SF. Your guys are young & your ace has major injury concerns. He is a high risk to get injured again with his pitching style. SF has a young staff also, but their guys are seasoned & proven winners. Cain & Bumgarner are just flat out nasty. They are the best young duo in the league. Then behind them you have a solid #3 in Vogelsong & a 2X Cy Young winner in Lincecum. Their bullpen is, IMO, the best in the majors. Lots of very reliable relievers & a pair of lights out closers.
