Just got bit by a Brown Recluse Spider while on my Roof

Well, I guess it's not as bad as my roommate's friend who literally had cut off his thumb in a deer skinning accident and, before deciding to put the thumb on ice and go to the hospital, posted on Facebook asking what he should do.

Quarter sized? I don't care to attach any images here (Google it yourself), but Brown Recluse bites are some serious shiz; it fuggin eats away flesh and looks like you had sulfuric acid dripping on you. I've seen areas the size of a volleyball necrotized from a brown recluse bite. I hope the long silence means he spent last night in a hospital. I doubt it would kill him, but it will fug his month up.
