OMG I worked with him with the Bobcats. He was hilarious and very nice. He looks like a douche here, which really surprises me. He was crazy but very funny and nice.

Sad to hear. As a veteran this hurts me. As a Panther fan it shames me. There is NO excuse for this behavior. But it works both ways. Walking down the ramps after the Dallas win years ago ( The blown call against the Panthers at the end...same game that Smitty was ejected) had grown men in Cowboys garb threating my son (he was around 13 at the time) for nothing more than wearing a Panther jersey. This is a sad story. To me men like this Marine are national treasures. But this incident aside, a large demographic of the Dallas fan base are insufferable rednecks.

Yeah, someone wearing an opposing team's jersey is reason for harassments and threats... I'm all for some good natured heckling between fans, but when it goes beyond that, it's just classless and stupid. If you're harassing a guy in a wheelchair, nevermind a combat wounded vet, you're just a piece of poo.
