Maybe if this season is shot and we start looking to next season he didn't want Hurney there with any input. Get a new guy to work on the draft and free agency now with all the recruiting trips and what not.

I believe you fire him now to eliminate Rivera's excuses. Now it's on Rivera to turn this team around without being able to blame Hurney. He's making the personnel decisions so if the team fails its all on him.

Sorry, I didn't see that thread from yesterday. But, mine is portraying the 'conspiracy' is not football related. Is there a possibility or was Jerry fed up at a random time in the season.
