I have to be the minority - all I hear and read seems to be regurgitation of those who do no critical thinking. Maybe it IS me.../shrug.

A player or coach's demeanor has nothing to do with their ability. If I hear how Rivera seems stoic or shows no heart one more time I want to gag. Same people that were mad because Fox never gave anything away.

Who cares? A coach raving on the field (the Ryans) look like characters. They don't look professional. Does it motivate the players to play harder?? Maybe in high school...maybe...but NFL??

Same for Cam. Who CARES about how he wears his emotion on his sleeve?? Who cares other than the media that is. That is all they talk about. Maybe he is more Cutler than Manning...but how he interviews has nothing to do with his ability.

I dont mind the criticism. His play calling seems horrible to me too. Where are the screens?? Whatever. What pisses me off is everyone wanting to fire the guy who was annointed last year. Give him a break.

He isnt the same as he used to be ...but DANG he is still our best WR not to mention the best we ever had. Those who want him benched or traded??? Are you serious?

We have problems everywhere. To blame it all on oline, rb, dline, dback is just crazy. No one mentions how Beason is out. We have rookies on the Oline so everyone blames Gross. Nuts.

What burns me is the refs in Dallas game. There was no talk of it in the media...everyone is like /shrug what are ya gonna do. Refs played a huge part in costing us that game. I wish the media would spend a LITTLE time on that instead of going back to bashing Cam.

Don't worry.... when the ship is finally righted and Cam and others get it going again, the same people who have been picking them apart will be praising them and calling them HOFers... people are funny like that

So out of all of that, our real problem is the refs? I'll admit the calls were suspect in that Dallas game, but we can't do anything on offense, this year, and coaches and players share in that blame.

I'm not the OP but ill take a crack at it.

#1 issue all season has been play calling. Is this because they don't trust Cam to make the right decisions? I don't know... But if that's it we've got bigger problems than advertised. Is it because the coaching staff believes that the read option is that effective? Don't know but it's been a double edged sword all year

#2 issue- Bad Luck... Plain and simple... Should have beat Atl, Sea, and Dal... but like Cam said in his last presser... "WE have to ELIMINATE the refs from the game" And why he really believes what he said is obvious. We've been poo'd on all year thanks to the refs. Missed holding call in end zone which should have resulted in a safety and ended the game... Instead 60 yd pass to white... Sea a few plays I remembered but have since forgotten. dal game... Bogus Time out given, followed PI no call on 4th down, followed by Horse collar on 3rd down that wasn't a horse collar... I won't even mention all the holding they were getting away with the whole game.

#3 No killer instinct- just like Cam said, "it's almost as if we play to keep the game close" instead of playing to win the game... This is more on the play calling side of the house... And of course Blame must fall on players for not properly executing the pooty plays that are called.

Our defense has played relatively well the last 3 games tbh... Kept ATL to lowest point total all year... Kept both Sea and Dal in teens

Truth be told our D could be better, but they have played well enough to win us games, and the offense hasn't been able to produce

I have conflicting feelings and theories on what's going on in the FO... Right now this coaching staff will coach harder than they have the past two years this week. That's a guarantee. I believe that our players were affected by Hurney being fired. I also believe that they are a resilient group of guys and will pull through this difficult time. I think a lot of fans have written this team off for dead, but I still hold out hope. I believe that bad breaks in one fashion or another has defined our record... But this team is not a 1-5 team even with the current injuries.

Just my take, and I didn't explain everything to the fullest... But you get the idea
