I don't see any reason to clean house during week 6. Not like there's going to be tons of great players to bring in. The team isn't losing because Clausen and Edwards.

Wait till the offseason and get rid of disappointing players. If there are players with attitude and work ethic problems, it may be worth dropping them immediately.

Rivera is likely a "caretaker".

He will likely only make the minimum number of changes that are needed to get this team through the season and leave the heavy lifting for the new GM.

If he starts making drastic changes I'll be very surprised.

One thing is for sure. He can use this opportunity to set a tone for how he wants the team to be. If Rivera really is on a hot seat, he should shake some things up to send a message. It's all on him now that the GM is gone.Time to take this team as HIS own now. A good leader would take advantage of this situation. We will all know soon enough if he really has those leadership & coaching skills we (some of us) actually thought he had.
