If I recall correctly, Morrison was an active participant in the head coaching search that got Rivera.

That really doesnt tell us much of anything except that he was a participant - for all we know he was dead set against Riveras hiring but was over ruled by JR and Hurney.

All indications were that everyone was happy with the Rivera hire, Morrison included.

Not a shock, really. People are generally excited and optimistic at a time like that. Lord knows all of us were.
