Is no one going to comment on the play of our pair of young cbs?

They held Dallas to the lowest passing yards of the year.I know they gave up a couple of plays but I thought the coverage was decent considering.

In light of all the fire everybody frenzy I am seeing some development from some of the ist and 2nd year players.

I tried to give them praise for shutting down Dez,

But everybody only cares about wins at this point, no moral victories.

I'm not sure how much of that is on the CBs and how much of it is the fact that Jason Garrett was calling plays pretty conservatively and Romo threw a lot of checkdowns.

Josh Thomas looked decent in the game given how he was thrown in to defend Dez and co. even though Dez was dropping left and right

I've been driving the Norman train since draft day... I was disappointed in the TD he gave up, but he actually had good coverage on it for the most part. Just a great throw.

Thomas was extremely impressive as well on the outside.

And Captain was awesome as usual in the slot.

Yeah the corners are playing much better than expected.

Safe to say "safety" is now the top priority in the secondary.

When the new coaching staff comes in, it's going to be interesting if any of these young corners stick around.

Think the news of Hurney being fired kind of trumps the play of the 2 young CB. Although they did do a heck of a job.

For a 5th round pick I was impressed with Thomas.

Only thing they didnt do was pick off Romo. That was the first game all season he didnt throw an INT. But aside from that they played well for the most part.

Captain is the weakest link! Not sure why he continues to play press coverage when he gets beat so much doing it. He needs to learn that press isn't about landing a big knock out blow to the receivers.

I like Josh Thomas though.

For sure...but there should have been at least 1 pick on Romo

Anderson should have had that one early in the game

Yep we are going to have to bring in talent at safety. At this point I hope the young cbs get some PT.It would be nice not to waste a high draft pic on one.
