Players' Twitter reactions to Hurney being Fired

The players know what they're talking about, none of you do, considering we are all just FANS. If the players don't think it was a good move then it wasn't a good move. We need more players like CJ to put the "fans" in their place.

The players haven't been performing. The coaching staff has been shitty. The GM puts both in place. New GM. Then new coaches. Then players that either step up or find new homes.

A player isn't going to bite the hand that fed them, ie Hurney.

You have no idea, the suffering I have felt under this GM.

John Fox, avenged.

He's been with the Panthers a FULL decade, out of which only 3 winning seasons.

Gave Delhomme a 30+ million dollar contract extension, then cut him the next season.

Fired Fox who won with The Golden Calf of Bristol his first year in Denver! Brought in Rivera.

Has 2 running backs worth 89 million dollars. Deangelo had 2 snaps yesterday!

Cut Muhammad and has never found a replacement for him to be a number 2 to Steve Smith.

It goes on and on...compared to him Tannenbaum is a genius.

Muhammad was past his time in 2010 but the first time they didn't resign Muhammad really hurt the Panthers. Smith, Muhammad, Delhomme were a great combo on the field and in the locker room. Overpaying Muhammad would've been the right thing to do. He was a great leader and the team had a much tougher attitude with him.

Keeping Peppers was the complete opposite. A cancer who only thought of himself and hated the franchise. They forced him to stay but said piss off to our leader.

Those fat ass pay checks were more about JR I would think.

Those fat ass paychecks were because of all the idiot fans saying JR needs to start spending money. And those same fans who loved all those signings then, are the same ones jumping for joy that Hurney was fired. It's a funny business.

He did need to start spending money, that is without debate.

We fans did not love the signings.

We hear all the time that our front office shows far too much loyalty to players rather than looking at the business side of it. How can you claim that the players are not doing the same?
