I just have to start laughing at this team

I laughed when Andre Brown and Ramses Barden (aka journeyman scrubs) lit up the Panthers defense. I laughed when Matt Ryan threw a bomb with his ass in the end zone that landed just so gracefully into Roddy White's hands. I laughed when Cam Newton threw the ball into the ground in the end zone on 4th down against Seattle. Today, just more of the same. I knew the second they had to run that 4th and 2 again that the game was over. The 2012 Panthers just DON'T make those plays.

I'm telling you, you'll feel a lot better about this season when you start putting your money against the Panthers every week. Takes a lot of the edge off.

No, you and 80% of this board of gone full retard. There's no stopping someone that has gone full retard, you can't explain anything to them.

I would argue that it takes more suckage to lose with this team than it did with Clausen.

At least with Clausen there was an excuse. No fuging excuse anymore this team is completely pathetic and hardly resembles collegiate level play, much less professional.

Learned helplessness is the condition of a human or animal that has learned to behave helplessly, failing to respond even though there are opportunities for it to help itself by avoiding unpleasant circumstances or by gaining positive rewards.

In the learned helplessness experiment an animal is repeatedly hurt by an adverse stimulus which it cannot escape.

Eventually the animal will stop trying to avoid the pain and behave as if it is utterly helpless to change the situation.

Finally, when opportunities to escape are presented, this learned helplessness prevents any action. The only coping mechanism the animal uses is to be stoical and put up with the discomfort, not expending energy getting worked up about the adverse stimulus.

Seriously, the Panthers are hilariously bad this year. It's like they will hang in the game until the very end, then just do enough to beat themselves. 3-13 or 4-12 is guaranteed. The only possible wins left I see are KC, Oakland, and MAYBE Tampa.

So let's just laugh at how hilarious this team is and enjoy it because they won't be this bad forever.

I'll admit it. A lot of the reason for my watching any of the game today was seeing what absurd way the Panthers would lose.

We have had a shot to win every game but 1....we aren't that bad. We are just far from good.

Sums it up IMO. If the offense were half as good as it were last year, or if we could just close out games (ATL, SEA), we would be okay. The team isn't good, but people are forgetting how bad 2010 for example actually was.

I appreciate the optimism but have to disagree. Still haven't beaten a decent team with a decent QB under Rivera. So circle that KC game on your calendar and get ready to party.
