NFL free agents almost always go to the highest bidder. In the case of a tie, the Panthers aren't a particularly desirable destination for guys who want to win.

Peppers has already provided Cam the blue print for departure.

If this team wants anything in the way of compensation they will allow Cam to leave if he makes it clear he does not want to stay.

Hopefully, the Panthers front office gets things turned around and headed in the right direction before Cam has to make that decision.

  I don't think he'll ever be worth what we gave up for him, but that's not his fault. He really has one proven wide receiver, and for the most part he's doing what is being asked of him. Would love to see these young receivers develop, add another one, and see how he continues to develop. We have to develop the rest of the roster. I wouldn't mind seeing some competition for Bryce in camp next year, but don't want to spend draft capital on it. We have so many other needs.
